Messing with Photoshop ...

Unlike my daughter, I have very little knowledge how to work Photoshop. All I ever use is the modified version — Photoshop Elements. Nichelle uses the big program and can do so much. She really amazes me. I found a picture and thought I'd play around with some of the special effects. The results are pretty freaky-deaky! The original photograph is shown above here.

Obviously, these are just a few of the effects. There are a bunch more. I can see how this would be addicting. I've also seen people make pictures out of the Cutout one. There's even one that could be used to make a cross-stitch design. Pretty cool stuff. One of these days I'll learn how to really work the program!

  1. Those are really neat, Rena. I wish I knew how to do Photoshop. I downloaded Gimp, which is a free program something like Photoshop. I've learned how to convert photos to 300 dpi using it. And I changed them all to black and white. I needed to do this for a book I was wanting to publish with CreateSpace. Now I just need to figure out CreateSpace.

    1. Oh, I'll have to look into Gimp as well. Good luck with that one. :)

    1. LOL Bish! I mostly use In-Design for the things I work on. Every now and then I go to PS and get myself all frazzled. ;)

    1. That one is cool, but I think my favorite is the Note Paper one. I can see that making neat designs. I might have to try it with Denny's pictures. :)

  4. I've used Photoshop Elements, too, not the big program. When I was done with my actual work, I rewarded myself by playing with photos I'd taken of my daughter and the guy who is now her husband. Some of the effects are so cool!
