And the winner is ...

This was, by far, the BEST commercial played on Super Bowl Sunday. I saw it during the Puppy Bowl, but it was shown during the game as well. Every time I see it, I laugh and I laugh and I laugh. It doesn't take much to amuse me, especially when animals are involved.

The Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head was a cute one. Other than that, Super Bowl Sunday commercials just aren't as good as they used to be, especially when you consider how much money they spend on those silly things. But this Pedigree one takes the cake! "Bruno, come back here! Bruno, you bad, bad bird!" Flippin' hysterical!

  1. The funniest part is the little old lady and I laugh each time too! There were some cute Budweiser ones that I saw (didn't watch the game).

  3. Definitely funny! I especially liked the ostrich bit and what the mailman says is classic: "Oh not again!" lol That and the guy throwing a frisbee at that bull's nose. Ouch!

I admit, I really liked the one for CareerBuilders.com. There's something about someone punching a koala (with glasses and tea, no less) that is so, so wrong but funny. That and the employee saying, "Hey, dummy" right to his co-worker's face...dang.

The one with the crystal ball (Doritos, I think) made TH & I laugh. Like, who does that?

The one that disturbed me a little was the Jack-In-The-Box one. I mean, is the character dead or what? I thought maybe they'd have a serial of them, but I guess not.

  5. That is a cute one! My kids liked the 3D one for Monsters vs Aliens. I actually did not pay attention to many commercials (or the game for that matter :0)

  6. LMAO! (I confess I only watched the Super Bowl in tiny spurts so I didn't see any of the commercials.)

  7. Oh that was funny Rena - thanks for posting it. We don't get the US commercials up here during Super Bowl - canadian commercials are put in instead! (Boring!)

I love the pig with his head out the window... that is my kind of pet!

  8. That one WAS funny. But for us, the only one where the whole room burst out laughing was the crystal ball one.

  9. My husband really liked the crystal ball one. I didn't see it.

And yeah, I'm STILL laughing at this animal one. In fact, I can't even talk about it without busting up. I think something's wrong with me.

    Thanks for your replies! :)

  10. I didn't see any commercials - the only part of the game I saw was when I was at the gym on the bike. I did see the red-flag challenge - that was interesting. Just never been into football - I mean American Football - as my husband calls it. Now, soccer, or Football (as my husband calls it) I love.

  15. I only watched about 20 minutes of the SuperBowl and during the commercial my husband flipped channels. He can't help it. It's a disease.

So thanks for posting that one. It's hilarious. I would show it to my five year-old, I know she'd love it, but it would be another reason why we NEED to get a dog. And Mommy isn't ready for one yet!
