No Grumpies!

Today is Great American Grump Out Day -- a day set aside to encourage people to go for 24 hours without being grumpy, crabby, or rude. They have a funny website, if you want to check it out. Considering I got very little sleep laugh night because I was coughing, going an entire day without being grumpy might be a challenge. I get grumpy when I'm tired. Now my throat is raw from coughing and that makes me grumpy.

I also get grumpy when I'm hungry. Thank goodness today is also No Diet Day! Do you think it's coincidence that both happen on the same day?

What makes you grumpy?

  1. I think it's a coincidence that my daughter, who is in college, had to make a song cd of her life.

Guess what song was Kara's first:
the theme to the Care Bears. That was yesterday and today I open up your blog. :) No grumpies here.

  3. Funny! I think No Diet Day is easier to celebrate, but I'll try to avoid grumpiness, too. Guess I better not at the laundry pile... :D

  4. Too late here for No Grumpies Day, sorry. Doesn't look like it's going to get any better either.

I'm sorry you still aren't feeling well Rena, I hope it passes soon. I didn't read FB this morning until after I ate yogurt and strawberries for breakfast. Oh well, it's better for me that cookies! lol

  5. Being hungry and whiny kids make me grumpy.

It sounds to me like you should take a nap. Naps help eliminate the grumpies. :)

  6. Oh,I've already ruined No Grumpies day. What makes me grumpy is having to nag, cajole, beg and yell at Isaac to do his school work, and stop being distracted and goofing off. He'll be 10 in August. PLEASE tell me it gets better,Rena!

  7. I wish I'd known about this earlier : )

What makes me grumpy is when people lie to get their way out of trouble. Like, if you'd just tell the truth, you'd be in a much better position, at least as far as I'm concerned. Drives me crazy!!!!!!!

  8. First, I'm sorry you're grumpy.

When I'm tired, hunrgy, frustrated or feeling like I'm being sabotaged, I get grumpy. Wouldn't you?

  10. Hm- I missed no grumpy day! Oh well. Actually I don't think I was grumpy yesterday as much as worried - my youngest is pretty sick with cold/ear infection etc. (So SHE was grumpy for all of us!)

What makes me grumpy? Stupidity is the worst. It seems like people are doing stupid things all the time and if they would only stop and think about what they are doing, the consequences of their actions etc - perhaps they wouldn't do stupid things and I wouldn't get upset.

Oh, and running out of Coca Cola... makes me VERY grumpy! lol
